Dakota Corps Scholarship Program
The Dakota Corps Scholarship program allows South Dakota high school students financial access to an outstanding postsecondary education, while encouraging them to remain in South Dakota upon graduation working in critical need occupations. Although the School of Mines does not offer degrees in the critical needs areas, because we are an eligible participant in the program, students are able to attend the School of Mines to study in their content area and then transfer (generally after their second year at Mines) to an eligible institution that offers the required degree.
