The deadline for scholarship eligibility is February 1
If you applied directly to the School of Mines (and sent your transcripts and test scores) you have already completed everything you need to be eligible for freshman scholarships. If you have applied using the South Dakota Public Higher Education Undergraduate Application for Admission, you will need to complete the Supplemental Application for Admission and Scholarship .
We strongly advise that applications and supplemental applications be postmarked no later than January 25 in order to meet the scholarship filing deadline of February 1.
Students also have the option to FAX their Supplemental Application to our office at (605) 394-1979; however, the FAX must reach our office no later than 4:00pm Mountain Standard Time, February 1 in order to meet the filing deadline.
All applicants must carefully review the admission Application Instructions and ensure that all required documents (including no less than an official sixth semester high school transcript or a final transcript for students that have already graduated from high school) are on file or mailed to the Admissions Office with a postmark date no later than January 25 in order to meet the filing deadline.
