Suzi Aadland was born and raised in northeastern South Dakota and moved to Rapid City in 1985. She has worked at the School of Mines since 1989 and with international students since 1990.
"I love the Rapid City and Black Hills area," says Suzi. "And working with students at the School of Mines has been such an incredible and rewarding experience for me."
Suzi believes it is important for students to make connections in order to get the maximum benefit from their education at the School of Mines, and from the rich culture of the Rapid City and Black Hills area. She strongly encourages students to get actively involved with various organizations and activities on campus and in the community.
"I hope you will decide to study here and to allow us to be a part of this very important step toward your successful future," says Suzi.
