Tex Claymore has enjoyed assisting families and students in all aspects of the college decision process for thirty-three years.
Tex started his career in admissions as an admissions counselor at a North Dakota university, where he finished as assistant director after 18 years. For the next 14 years, he served as assistant director of admissions at a university in Minnesota.
Tex now brings his wealth of experience to the School of Mines where he is looking forward to bringing the best and brightest students to this fantastic university.
Tex is married to Dixie, his wife of 26 years, and they reside in Rapid Valley. They have one daughter, Kaylee, who lives in Minnesota.
