Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) is a multifaceted program at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology that provides and exciting and supporting environment for women pursuing science and engineering degrees.
Programs and opportunities under the WISE umbrella include:
- Mentors and Mentees (M&M), which matches junior and senior student mentors with freshman, sophomore, and transfer students.
- WISE Start Program, a scholarship and support opportunity for American Indian Women
Women in WISE impact future generations of women scientists and engineers through outreach programs such as Engineering GIRLS Day and Girl Engineers in Middle School (GEMS).
