Transfer Student Checklist

See Transfer Student Checklist for more information. (Information for accepted transfer students is also available.)

An applicant for admission to the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology is considered a transfer applicant if he or she has enrolled for any college-level work, full or part-time, since graduation from high school.

  • Are in good standing with their most recently attended school.

B. Students with less than a 2.0 GPA may be admitted on probation, but each applicant is considered on an individual basis.
